Geolux Introduces Radar Sensor for Surface Flow Monitoring

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - SAMOBOR, Croatia - Apr 06, 2016 - Geolux today announced the arrival of RSS-2-300 W radar sensor. Geolux has been developing radar sensor modules to OEM customers since 2007, and this product is its first ready-to-go radar sensor module for the use in water management applications. RSS-2-300 W is packed in a rugged IP66 aluminum casing, and can accept connections through RS-232, RS-485 and CAN communication interfaces.

The sensor can monitor surface flow velocity as low as 0,02 m/s up to 3,75 m/s. The radar operation range is up to 50 meters.

Geolux RSS-2-300 W radar module has been certified to comply to both European (CE) and American (FCC) norms, and it operates in industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).
