1st Exhibition Of Sandpiper Asia's Cashless Solutions at Tourism Technology Asia

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - SINGAPORE - Jul 20, 2016 - Sandpiper Digital Payments Asia (SDPA), after recently acquihiring event-based RFID payment startup, GoGORILLA, will be showcasing its unique cashless payment systems and services for the first time, at Tourism Technology Asia (TTA) from 20th – 21st July ’16.

SDPA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sandpiper Digital Payments AG of Switzerland, a market leading digital payment conglomerate in Europe. SANDPIPER is already today one of the largest providers of closed-loop payment systems in Europe. SANDPIPER solutions provide safe and intuitive payment technologies based on RFID/NFC and mobile applications for markets such as Retail, Education, Stadium, and Events.

At TTA, SDPA will be displaying their RFID ecosystem that makes payments hassle-free for venues, visitors, event organizers, and event attendees. SDPA will offer their platform and service offerings with full support into venues and long-term installations such as theme parks and stadiums.

In addition, SDPA will have Sandpiper AG’s mobile wallet, currently used in over 12,000 locations across Europe , enabling users to carry their funds outside of the event and into F&B/Retail locations. This will enhance the opportunities for event organisers to work with their sponsors and communities on a larger scale pre and post event.

Besides just showcasing technology, James Kane, Director of SDPA, will also be sharing his thoughts in an open workshop titled, “How RFID technologies can open up opportunities for a truly integrated resort experience (http://www.tourismtechnologyasia.miceapps.com/client/site…)”. At 3:45pm on 21st July ’16, James will talk about how cash is no longer king, as cashless payments are set to overtake it.

The workshop will shed some light on how resort businesses can gain valuable insight into operational flow to streamline processes, acquire continuous and real time data for predictive marketing, and achieve an exceptional customer experience. James will also share a couple of success stories and pitfalls to avoid.
