2016 Arizona Regional Science Bowl Set for Feb. 20, 2016

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Phoenix, AZ - Feb 11, 2016 - Building a promising future and creating jobs starts with a strong education in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Solugenix Corporation is doing just that by hosting the 10th Annual Arizona Regional Science Bowl—a math and science competition for high school students, Feb. 20, at the ASU West Campus – Sands Building

Glendale, AZ 85306, starting at 9 a.m.

Thirty-two teams of high school students representing 20 schools from throughout Arizona will test their knowledge of science and compete for the first place prize and a free trip to the National Science Bowl in Washington, DC, April 29 through May 4. The regional and national events encourage student involvement in math and science, provide an awareness of future career options in STEM, and deliver a venue for exercising their achievements.

This is the 10th year for the Arizona Science Bowl, sponsored and organized by Solugenix Corporation, in coordination with the Arizona Technology Foundation. The event is also supported by the ASU New College School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Texas Instruments, and Greater Phoenix MENSA.

The public is invited to watch the competition and support the teams.

Admission is free.
