Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Jan 20, 2016 - With support from Olympic track athlete Jack Green, entry for the inaugural Virtual Ride opens today. Organised and run completely online, a Virtual Ride is carried out over a route of the participant’s choosing, at a time that suits them. All participants receive a custom medal after the ride has finished.
YoungMinds is the first beneficiary of this new concept in charity bike events. The organiser, Colman Carpenter, said “It’s great to be able to support such a wonderful charity as YoungMinds for our launch event, and to have such a great ambassador for the charity in Jack Green involved too. Mental health issues are affecting more and more young people, so anything we can do to support their essential work is hugely gratifying.”
