Often time’s engineers are faced with the daunting task of providing a robust solution, typically found in a 7U server into a compact 2U rackmount chassis; such as our RCK-203BR in which space, size, performance, and reliability are at a premium.

AICSYS In., has taken on the challenge of designing the ideal compact 2U chassis solution capable of a multitude of configurations. The RCK-203BR is the one of our proud showcase product to the 2U Rackmount Chassis Product Line. With a depth of only 450mm (17 inches), the RCK-203BR is ideal for applications that require a shorter rack depth or even a vehicle mount. Both PICMG 1.0: BP-0602P-2U & BP-0604P-2U and PICMG 1.3: BPE-0502P-2U and BPED-0605-2U Butterfly Backplanes can be installed into the RCK-203BR for use with a wide variety of PCI as well as PCIe SBC’s and Add-on Cards resulting in a very robust system.

Although the RCK-203BR has a small footprint, it is constructed from Heavy Duty Steel and combined with the two 8CM Ball Bearing Fans, the excellent airflow and the rugged design ensure for a stable platform. When used with the optional Mini-Redundant ATX Power Supply, the RCK-203BR is a fault tolerant solution ensuring for 7/24 reliability. For storage the RCK-203BR can be figured for one Slim 5.25″ optical disc drive and two 3.5″ SATA HDD’s. The RCK-203BR Chassis is truly a powerhouse in a small, rugged form factor ideal for any application from Firewall Server to Mobile Surveillance System.
