Press Release (ePRNews.com) - LEXINGTON, N.C. - Aug 02, 2018 - Amy Hannigan, a loving wife and mother of two daughters, as well as a successful business owner and community leader with multiple degrees, has completed her new book, “Ever-Changing Truth”: a compelling narrative of Amy, a woman who undergoes life’s mysteries and overwhelming circumstances that define her character and resolve to understand God’s plan for her.
Amy shares, “The most confusing part of my childhood is that all of these bad things were happening in the midst of Daddy reading the Bible to us at night and making us read the Bible, letting me ride horsey on his back, and fixing me that egg each morning before I started kindergarten when he wasn’t working. He wasn’t stingy with what little money he earned. As long as he had his cigarettes first, he didn’t seem to mind giving Mama money (most of the time) and gave us a dollar or a quarter if he had it. Maybe he didn’t mind giving, because most of the time, he didn’t have any money to give, because he couldn’t hold down a job. He always got mad at somebody and found a reason to quit his job. When he worked, he worked harder and faster than his co-workers. On one hand he seemed to have morals and work ethic, but on the other hand it seemed his morals only applied to those he sought to control.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Amy Hannigan’s new book will take the readers on a trail to internalizing how abuse begins and how it can cease.
This books also imparts a thought on understanding how being bullied and having a lack of self-confidence are some of the events that lead women into unhealthy relationships.
