Artusi Announces Asset Purchase Agreement With MacGAMUT Music Software

Press Release ( - NEW YORK - Mar 09, 2020 - Artusi, Inc., the premier provider of digital tools to music educators, announced today that it has acquired MacGAMUT, a leader in the industry with over 30 years of devoted usage. Artusi adds the storied brand to its innovative online platform, which is used by top music programs across the United States and Europe to provide students with interactive training at the university and high school levels.

“MacGAMUT pioneered the space of digital music education, which has grown into a large market of hundreds of thousands of students eager to embrace this technology. Professor Michael Scott Cuthbert, Artusi’s Chief Music Officer and the inventor of its platform, explained, “Like most music professors, I have fond memories of using MacGAMUT as a student myself, and I’m excited to bring MacGAMUT’s educational ethos into new tools designed for the next generation of musicians. Artusi and MacGAMUT’s products are now available via their websites and Artusi will be launching a fully integrated product in August 2020.
