Press Release (ePRNews.com) - BRISBANE, Australia - Apr 12, 2016 - Despite three weeks of decline in Australian consumer confidence and a slump in retail spending, Australia fashion powerhouse LDC Fashion is bucking the trend by utilising its innovative sales channels and emphasising its entirely Australian-made garments.
The label has thrived since local Wade Lange founded the business in 2012, with the young entrepreneur crediting much of his success to designing, printing and sewing collections at his Brisbane business head quarters.
“While a lot of businesses might think it’s easier and cheaper to outsource production and just sell it on, I’ve always been determined to do more to offer something buyers can know has been locally and ethically made, with a real focus on quality, and it has always been really well received,” Lange said.
Lange says that being able to employ local sewers and designers gives the brand an edge against its competitors.
“Working together and being a part of every process from design, making the pieces and then being proud of the final product is the soul of our business and it’s what sets us apart from the rest.”
Lange and his team have learned to master online channels, gaining it a loyal international customer base. The team pride themselves on their strong customer service ethos, and correspond with their global customers and fans 24/7, building real relationships.
“Yes we are an online business, but we love customers to come in to HQ, try before they buy, see how and where their garments are made. They can meet the whole team behind the process which is pretty unique in online sales these days,” he said.
The company’s innovative approach has caught the eye of numerous world-renowned companies such as Disney, 2K Games and FOX who have all awarded LDC Fashion exclusive licensing rights in the past.
“It’s great when thinking outside the box and doing things a little differently really pays off with such great partnerships,” he said.
“And we have a lot more very exciting things in the pipeline, so we’re focused on continuing to innovate and hoping consumers continue to support local and small businesses.”
