Press Release (ePRNews.com) - St. Louis, Missouri - Oct 05, 2016 - KnowledgeLake, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Bernie Schweiss as Chief Executive Officer of KnowledgeLake, Inc. effective October 1, 2016. Former Chief Executive Officer, Ron Cameron, will serve as KnowledgeLake’s Chairman of the Board.
Schweiss, promoted from Chief Operating Officer, has responsibility for the overall strategic growth of KnowledgeLake to ensure that the company continues to realize its mission of enabling clients to realize their full potential by providing new and innovative document technologies on premises and in the cloud. Schweiss drives the partnership between KnowledgeLake and Microsoft and has been instrumental in releasing the second phase of KnowledgeLake Advance Capture, a multi-tenant document processing solution powered by Microsoft Azure.
During his four years at KnowledgeLake, Schweiss has also assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing and created the Client Success division while serving as its Director. Schweiss owned and operated his own company for over 15 years before embarking on a career in enterprise technology sales with Microsoft and Epson, joining KnowledgeLake in 2012.
Schweiss also serves as Chairman of the Governing Board for Boys Hope Girls Hope, an organization that helps academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential by providing value-centered, family-like environments, opportunities and education through college.
“Bernie has been a skilled and amazing addition to the KnowledgeLake leadership team in the past few years, helping to shape the company as a leading provider of enterprise content management solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem as well as outside of that market,” said Cameron. “Our Board of Directors, including me, believe that Bernie has the character, skills and work ethic to take KnowledgeLake to the next level of excellence and provide our clients with a first-rate experience.”
Under Cameron’s leadership, KnowledgeLake has been named Microsoft Partner of the Year three times and is recognized as the founder of the SharePoint document imaging marketplace. One of the four KnowledgeLake founders, Cameron was a driving force as the company formed a strategic alliance with PFU Limited, a Fujitsu company, in 2007 and further acquisition in 2013. Cameron will now solely operate as a strategic advisor, serving as Chairman of the Board for KnowledgeLake.
“Serving the people and customers of KnowledgeLake for the past 16 years has been the best and most rewarding business experience of my life,” commented Cameron. “I am excited to continue serving KnowledgeLake in my new capacity as Chairman.”
“It is a tremendous honor to be a part of KnowledgeLake and work alongside an exceptional group of leaders as we build the foundation for long-lasting success,” said Schweiss. “I have tremendous respect for Ron and look forward to working with him, the Board and the leadership team as KnowledgeLake enters its next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth.”
