Press Release (ePRNews.com) - RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Sep 26, 2018 - Speaker, author and breast cancer survivor Kara Adams was the guest speaker at this year’s sold-out 10th Annual Pink Runway event at the Riverside Convention Center held on Sept. 23, 2018. The event was hosted by the Plastic Surgeons of Loma Linda University. The Pink Runway is a breast cancer reconstruction educational seminar featuring a fashion show with breast cancer reconstruction survivors as the models. The event included guest speaker Kara Adams and a Q&A panel of Loma Linda’s doctors and surgeons.
“Kara’s message was about finding purpose after cancer, and her candidness and humor touched everyone in the room,” said Shaneen Hall, an attendee of the event and a Critical Care Tech in the ICU department at St. Bernardine’s Medical Center in San Bernardino, California.
Kara’s professional background includes more than 15 years of marketing strategy, improving company performance and product utilization in the financial services industry. She became known as an expert in customer journeys for the largest auction house in the world, worth $16.7 billion, and as the vice president of marketing for a large community-based credit union in Riverside County — a $1.3 billion financial institution. But Kara’s real claim to fame, and why so many talented women seek her out, is the powerful story of how she reclaimed herself as a “hidden treasure” and learned to live a life full of joy, meaning and purpose.

Readers of her book “Hidden Treasure” have expressed great enthusiasm and have been quoted as saying:
“Wow. Kara has written a beautiful piece of work. I am in awe of her power of description and her ability to evoke emotion. I bow down to her strength, her courage, her character, and the representation of the Divine Feminine that she is. I have been called tenacious, but I could never hold a candle to her tenacity. Brava, my friend!” – Donna Mosher, President of Segue Communications
