Ray Keating is a novelist, columnist, economist, entrepreneur and professor.

Among his eight books, Keating has penned three novels – "The River: A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel" (2014), "An Advent for Religious Liberty: A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel" (2012), "Root of All Evil? A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel" (2012), and "Warrior Monk: A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel" (2010).

He writes a weekly column for Long Island Business News.  Previously, for more than 11 years, he wrote a column for Newsday on Long Island.

In addition, Keating runs his own small business – Keating Reports, LLC – which provides writing, research, communication, economics, and publishing services.

Keating is an adjunct professor at Dowling College as well.

Over the years, Keating has written hundreds of policy studies and articles, with pieces published in such periodicals as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, New York Post, Boston Globe, National Review, Investor`s Business Daily, Chicago Tribune, Policy Review, The Journal of Commerce, The Washington Times, Daily News, Detroit Free Press, Indianapolis Star, and many more.
