Quality of Life Care, LLC has been helping people and businesses since 2005. It was created by Deanna Cochran, RN, BA to provide information, resources and support to people dealing with serious illness so that they may find the highest in quality of life on a daily basis.

Mission: The mission of QLC is to provide education, support and resources to individuals, families and organizations on issues related to life limiting illness from diagnosis through after death

Vision: QLC envisions a world where every person on the planet has access to high quality palliative care to support a high quality of life anytime during an illness, especially during the time of irreversible, declining health. QLC also envisions a world where people know what to do during the imminent dying period.

Values: The sharing of information to enhance quality of life is what guides every action within QLC.

Focus: QLC focuses on the time period between “when-cure-driven-treatments-begin-to-stop-working” and bereavement.

QLC has created various initiatives over the years that has promoted palliative care, patient empowerment, consumer training, end of life training and consumer advocacy.

Presently, QLC’s focus is creating and improving palliative care programs as well as end of life doula programs within communities, organizations, home healths, hospices and hospitals … anywhere people are being served during the time period of advanced illness. Also, Deanna is very involved with mentoring end of life doulas and companions to accompany the dying through QLC’s Certification Program, Accompanying the Dying~a Practical Guide & Awareness Training (www.accompanyingthedying.com).

Please email us if you have any questions about how palliative care principles can add tremendous value to your business.
