Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK - Jul 10, 2017 - Christine Rooney, Chief Executive of Cat-A-Tonic Limited, provider of Oldham’s first cat themed café has announced she will be hosting a business group meeting for Oldham women later this month.
Named the Oldham Independent Businesswomen Group (OIBG) it will hold its inaugural meeting at the Cat-A-Tonic premises on 49 Union Street, Oldham on Tuesday 25th July at 6-8pm. Thereafter the meetings will take place on the last Tuesday of every month.
“Since we opened on June 1st I have had many enquiries about a starting a women’s group to discuss business matters in Oldham.” said Christine. “We have the premises to hold such meetings here and the added attraction is that having our discussions surrounded by cats is very becalming. We already have a few people interested in becoming founder members of the group so I thought we should get the group up and running sooner rather than later.”
“The business women in Oldham have a right to have their say in how future business is being shaped for Oldham. There is a tremendous amount of experience, talent and energy within our ranks to make this town a better place in which to live and work, and play our part in generating future prosperity. I would love to hear from anyone who wants to join the club and participate in our meetings and would ask them to email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to have as wide and diverse a range of people join us as possible.
Christine Rooney launched her first Cat-A-Tonic café in Oldham last month – a themed café where cats can be watched and played with – building on a concept started nearly 20 years ago in Taiwan and Japan. Oldham’s café is the first one to be opened in a northern UK town.
