CORAS Wins Joint Authorization Board Provisional Authority to Operate Through FedRAMP Connect

Oct 14, 2020 Mark

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - MCLEAN, Va. - Oct 14, 2020 - CORAS, the only Enterprise Decision Management software designed to specifically support the Department of Defense, announced today that CORAS® Federal has been prioritized by the Joint Authorization Board (JAB) to pursue a JAB Provisional Authority to Operate (P-ATO) through the FedRAMP Connect program. CORAS started the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) compliance process at the High Impact Level (Il5 IL6).

The JAB includes Federal Agency representatives from DOD, DHS, and GSA. The FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) and JAB evaluate Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) through the FedRAMP Connect program. Each year, a few select CSOs are prioritized for the JAB authorization process, based on demonstrated demand for the CSO across Federal Agencies.

“We are excited to be selected for the JAB review cycle. Obtaining our FedRAMP High ATO will allow CORAS to serve our customers significantly faster without the complications of managing servers themselves,” said CORAS President and CTO Dan Naselius. “Customers can be up and running within 24 hours in the CORAS Cloud.”

This step demonstrates CORAS’s longstanding commitment to cloud and data security and serving the specific needs of its customer base. FedRAMP is the U.S. government’s most rigorous security compliance framework in which a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) is assessed by an independent third party to meet the requirements set forth by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). The goal of the FedRAMP program is to ensure effective, standardized, and repeatable cloud security for the government.

CORAS is part of the family of companies held by Executive 1 Holding Company, LLC (EX1), a strategic conglomeration of leading providers of AI/ML/NLP, technology, and consulting solutions to the federal government (HumanTouch, LLC and Plasticity, Inc.).

CORAS provides a frictionless platform to military departments and agencies, tackling their major programming and asset management challenges through the aggregation of existing data sources, the analysis of project and program readiness, and the automation of information reporting. The resulting time savings transforms Decision Management and provides Leadership with the ability to transform the scope and impact of their data and make defendable decisions.
