Press Release (ePRNews.com) - BASINGSTOKE, England - Oct 04, 2016 - It’s carnage at the Pilgrim Country House Hotel in Herefordshire where people are murdered on a regular basis!
Fortunately, it isn’t the guests, but a feature of the regularly staged Murder Mystery Evenings, which are extremely popular and attract amateur sleuths from far and wide.
The Pilgrim is owned and run by ex-England and Lions international Steve Boyle, and is located in the village of Much Birch in the Wye Valley, between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford.
The next murder mystery, ‘Dr. Maybe’, will take place on Saturday 26 November, when a group of ’00’ agents gets infiltrated by a spy, resulting in the death of at least one of their colleagues; special agent 007, James Bland, is determined to find out who it is.
A team of professional actors will lead dinner guests through the background to the murder and will then circulate to provide clues and answer questions.
The evening costs £38 per person, which includes a three-course dinner, a murder to solve, actors and prizes for the winning detectives.
Those wishing to make a weekend break of the event, can stay for two nights at the special discounted rate of £69 per person (two sharing, B&B – total of £107 per person for the Murder Mystery and two-night weekend stay).
The hotel is in the middle of rich walking country and there are several routes direct from the hotel (free guides available from reception), and the renowned Herefordshire Trail literally passes the front door.
Extra nights and room upgrades available on request.
