In Henderson Nevada on June 30th, Steve McBride, CEO of Weever Apps Inc., presented Dan Fowler of Unilever with the 2016 Weever Apps Innovation Award.
The Weever Apps Innovation Award is presented annually to a customer or partner who best drives the values of innovation within their organization, including quality, creativity, accountability and leadership.
“Dan approached Weever Apps early in 2015 with a vision to make his facility in Simcoe Ontario a safer place to work, reduce paper-based processes and improve productivity.” said Steve McBride, CEO Weever Apps. “He wanted to replace the existing paper-based inspection and audit system with an entirely mobile and digital process.”
Dan was chosen for the award from hundreds of new customers and partners from across North America, because of his commitment to innovate processes and improve productivity. The solution has since attracted attention from other Unilever facility managers across North America.
The mobile application uses a system of forms and automated workflows to keep all members of the operation informed and up-to-date. The app is available to all workers on phones, tablets and desktop computers throughout the facility. All interactions are captured in a dashboard that provides real-time data and reports to company managers.
