Press Release (ePRNews.com) - SINGAPORE - Nov 29, 2017 - With its annual leadership summit taking place in Dubai Nov. 23 through Nov. 26, it’s then straight back to Singapore for the MillionaireAsia Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Summit on Nov. 29.
DasCoin is sponsoring the exclusive event, set to take place at The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore.
The 5-star heritage venue is located in the magnificent Fullerton Building, a grand neoclassical landmark built in 1928. Originally the Singapore Post Office building, it was recognized in 2015 as a National Monument.
Why might citizens hold virtual currencies rather than physical dollars, euros, or sterling? Because it may one day be easier and safer than obtaining paper bills, especially in remote regions. And because virtual currencies could actually become more stable.
The award-winning site opens its doors at 9 a.m. on the 29th for the all-day event, which concludes at 5 p.m. This is followed by a VIP networking dinner from 7-9 p.m., reserved for VIP pass holders only.
MillionaireAsia is a special interest magazine and regional multi-channel platform for high-net-worth individuals in Asia. With a circulation of 60,000, six localized editions of the magazine now reach 300,000 of the richest individuals in Asia.
They also boast a database of over 140,000 millionaires in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, Monaco, Russia, and Australia.
The MillionaireAsia Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Summit features a number of highly-prominent speakers, including DasCoin Founder and CEO Michael Mathias, and, from DasFinancial, Executive Chairman Terry O’Hearn.
They’re joined by Blair Baker, Chief Executive Officer of DasPayments, as well as cryptocurrency market analyst and Blockchain Advisor to DasCoin, Daniel Dabek.
Delivering the first of two keynote speeches is well-known Wall Street investor Jim Rogers. He has subsequently been featured in Time, The New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and The Business Times.
A second keynote speech is to be delivered by former U.S. Congressman and Chairman of the Government Oversight Subcommittee on Domestic Policy, Dennis Kucinich.
Attending in the role of Panel Speaker will be George Sarcevich, former Wall Street investment banker at Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns and HSBC, and now Director of DasCoin’s WebWallet.
Other panel speakers include Ramani Ramachandran, CEO of Zen Private Exchange, a blockchain-based fintech platform, and Kelvin Tan, Head of FinTech & Data at Singapore Exchange Limited.
Also delivering talks on the day will be Anna Hejka, CEO of Heyka Capital Markets, Marcus Phuah, founder of specialist law practice Marcus Phuah & Co., and Balaji K. Srinivasan and Gautam Seshadri, both of CIMA-registered open-ended fund, 108 Capital.
