Press Release (ePRNews.com) - OAKLAND, Calif. - Nov 19, 2019 - Dictum Health Inc. – innovators in telehealth’s Virtual Exam Room (VER) technology that brings the entire medical team to the point of care – has entered into a strategic partnership with Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to deploy Dictum Health technology via DAL Digital Information Technology Co., Ltd. throughout Saudi Arabia’s healthcare system.
The focus of this partnership will be to deliver specialty medical consultations from expert physicians at major hospitals to remote primary healthcare clinics throughout Saudi Arabia. This pilot program, utilizing Dictum Health’s IDM100 medical tablet and VER technologies, will begin to introduce remote patients to clinical care from major metropolitan hospitals. Upon the successful completion of this program, the partnership will continue to expand its efforts to further remote areas in the Middle East.
“STC is playing a key role as a tech enabler for the Saudi digital transformation, and by expanding the reach of physicians using telehealth, remote healthcare services can be effectively delivered to a larger portion of the patient population,” said Eng. Riyadh Muawad, Enterprise Senior Vice President of STC, “The path to achieving this objective is through efficient use of technologies such as the ‘Internet of Things’, robust telecom infrastructure, and a HIPAA-compliant platform that supports virtual exams.”
Dictum Health’s Virtual Exam Room (VER) product allows a remote physician/specialist to examine all patient populations at the point of care, from incident, to hospital, to rehab, to home recovery, with the same privacy and accuracy of an in-hospital exam. Remote clinicians can conduct complete clinical examinations utilizing two-way simultaneous video conferencing and real-time streaming of diagnostic data and medical images, allowing them to assess, diagnose, and recommend treatment to any patient, anywhere, at any time.
Dr. Sadek Al Shouli, Group CEO of DAL Digital says, “We are excited to collaborate with STC and Dictum Health to deliver and support such a revolutionary solution to the public healthcare system of Saudi Arabia. This effort will improve the quality of care for the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and, in some cases, allow health care to reach people that otherwise wouldn’t be able to receive or afford it.”
Dictum Health’s Care Central telehealth platform includes over 14 telemetry and imaging parameters, telecom infrastructure, web-based access portals, and HIPAA-compliant cloud services, including integration with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Mory Ejabat, CEO of Dictum Health added, “Dictum Health’s platform can easily scale to cover thousands of locations in need of virtual healthcare delivery. We are anxious to meet the Digital Transformation Initiatives and exponentially increase our operations at primary healthcare facilities across Saudi Arabia.”
