Press Release (ePRNews.com) - New York, NY - Jan 22, 2018 - Elizabeth J. Clark, author, speaker, and hope advocate, as well as a healthcare professional with extensive work involving cancer survivors, depressed individuals, and people facing life-challenging illnesses, has completed her new book, “Choose Hope (Always Choose Hope)”: an elucidating and timely account about the positive impact of hope to individuals suffering from disappointments and crisis.
Elizabeth states, “My interest in hope began decades ago with my first job as a medical social worker in a hospital hematology/oncology unit. At that time, a diagnosis of cancer was often equated with a death sentence. Despite poor odds, I found that patients continued to hope and that their hopes changed as their situations changed. I watched people get discouraged with treatments and side effects, but I recall very few who gave up hope completely. Despite a life-limiting disease, hope remained.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Elizabeth J. Clark’s new book is a necessary tool in helping individuals find hope and make use of it every day, as well as to trust hope to influence the flow of life, leading to a better way of thinking and living.
The majority of people think that “hope” is simply believing for things to come around, often comparing it to “positivity”, and this definition has lingered throughout time, even becoming a cliché. But what people failed to realize is that the concept of hope is much deeper than what everyone thinks of it. Hope is a complex emotion, and each person may have a different understanding of how “hoping” really works.
This is where this book comes in, with the goal of helping people understand and grasp the power of such an emotion, especially during times of pain and despair.
Readers can purchase “Choose Hope (Always Choose Hope)” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Kobo, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
