Elliott Nicholas's New Book "The Adventures of Too Cool the Urban Penguin: A Time to Pray" is a Fun Story About a Young Penguin Who Thinks He's Too Cool to Pray.

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Hoover, AL - Sep 07, 2018 - Elliott Nicholas, a comedian, script writer, and youth sport coach based out of Birmingham, Alabama, has completed his new book, “The Adventures of Too Cool the Urban Penguin: A Time to Pray”:  an entertaining, yet important story about prayer.

Elliott shares from his book, “Once upon a time in the North Pole, a number of young penguins gathered at the edge of the ice to take their first swim. Seals wait for them to jump in the water because penguins are one of their favorite things to eat. Before jumping in, the penguins decide to form a big circle to pray that God would keep them safe, but let his will be done, and if they are eaten, they would go to heaven.

Now TC, one of the young penguins, is lying back on a small snow-covered hill when his friend Jesse calls out to him. ‘Hey, TC!’ he shouted. ‘Come near so you can hear!’

‘No way,’ replied TC. ‘Not today. I say come what may. I’m too cool to pray. You, and all the rest, go on do your best. I’m gone keep it real and chill on this soft snow-covered hill.’”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Elliott Nicholas’s new book is a wonderfully imaginative story that aims to make prayer cool when children realize how important it is even for those who think they’ve got it all together.

As TC tries to keep his cool but ends up making himself a fool, children will laugh aloud but come away with a newfound appreciation for a God who listens to every prayer.

Readers can purchase “The Adventures of Too Cool the Urban Penguin: A Time to Pray” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
