Press Release (ePRNews.com) - PORTLAND, Ore. - Oct 09, 2018 - SOLE Financial has promoted Chelsea Thornton to vice president of sales to refine and execute the strategic plan to grow SOLE’s cardholder base and encourage existing clients to reach 100 percent direct deposit while elevating standards across the board. Thornton will be responsible for guiding SOLE’s sales strategy and the success of SOLE’s sales and client services teams.
Rick Holt, CEO, said of the promotion, “Chelsea is an ideal fit for the VP of sales role. Her contagious energy and attention to detail are second to none. In her time at SOLE, Chelsea has demonstrated a knack for taking quick-thinking action while consistently delivering strong results. Chelsea brings years of sales and management expertise to this role and she was clearly the perfect person to lead our sales division.”
With Thornton’s promotion, SOLE’s executive leadership saw an opportunity to bring all client-facing teams under one strong leader to evolve SOLE’s approach to the client experience. Thornton’s first step in bringing these two teams together under her leadership was a team-wide viewing of Simon Sinek’s famous “Start With Why” video to encourage each team to start every client conversation by focusing on what motivates each individual client the most.
