Fan Guru to Power Fan Expo's 'Masters of Cosplay' Series Thru 2021

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - DALLAS - Apr 24, 2019 - FAN GURU is excited to partner with the incredible series of FAN EXPO entertainment conventions as the signature sponsor of the Masters of Cosplay International and as the Official App of FAN EXPO events. ‘FAN GURU Masters of Cosplay International’ kicks off this April at Calgary Expo and caps off with the Finals at Fan Expo Canada this August in Toronto, Canada.

FAN GURU’s commitment to fan community engagement is a natural fit with FAN EXPO’s mission to deliver the best entertainment experiences to their hundreds of thousands of yearly attendees. Each FAN GURU Masters of Cosplay event—a Grand Prix—includes divisions for everyone from Novice to Masters, including a special Youth division. Judges are selected from the most experienced and celebrated cosplayers, many of whom are national champions themselves. Entrants vie for cash prizes, including the top prize of $7,500 and the Masters of Cosplay International Champion crown. For each division, FAN GURU’s Fan Favorite voting will be available exclusively thru the FAN GURU app and online at https://www.fan.guru.

The 2019 Masters of Cosplay series includes 5 events: Calgary Expo (April 25-28), Fan Expo Dallas (May 3-5), Megacon Orlando (May 16-19), Fan Expo Boston (Aug. 16-18), and the Finals at Fan Expo Canada (Aug. 22-25) held in Toronto. FAN GURU’s sponsorship will continue thru the 2020 and 2021 event series.

FAN GURU will also serve as the Official Event App for all Fan Expo events thru 2021. In addition to providing a smart digital program guide for each event, FAN GURU integrates custom schedule building, chats, meetups, maps, photo sharing and much more.
