Press Release (ePRNews.com) - SINGAPORE - Nov 23, 2016 - Next week more than 200 incentive conference and event (ICE) sector practitioners from Asia Pacific will come together at the Incentive Conference & Event Society Asia Pacific (ICESAP) Conference in Singapore to learn and mix with the best industry practitioners, agencies, suppliers and representatives of leading corporate organisations said President Nigel Gaunt.
The deluxe St Regis Singapore will be the host venue for the 2016 ICESAP Conference to be held November 30 to December 2.
“Each year since its inception the annual conference has delivered a fabulous opportunity to hear from the ICE sector’s leading agencies and businesses on best practice, sustainably, insights and experiences, innovative programs and projects – as well as the very latest in new and emerging trends”, said Nigel Gaunt.
“The Leaders Forumsthat will open the conference and the Industry Innovation Workshops on the final day are regarded as extraordinary opportunities to see ‘behind the curtains’ of the ICE industry’s very best agencies and benchmarks for the future in client service and application of advances in technology and practices”.
The focus of the three Educational Workshops led by three global agencies is Innovation.
Jack Morton and Richard Bradley of Jack Morton Worldwidewill facilitate the first workshop: The importance of divergent thinking in driving innovation & other tools to enhance your creativity.
Most problems are not new. The challenge is to look at old problems in new ways.
Delegates will find out how to unlock creativity by thinking differently using some simple techniques that will help shift perspective, challenge preconceived notions and help embrace the constraints of the challenge at hand.
The theme of the second workshop to be facilitated by Dorier International is Mirror Worlds
People remember how they are made to feel, that is why being customer-centric should be the number one priority when planning any events. As there is less and less separation between business technology and consumer technology, being able to ‘touch’ emotionally attendees is key to creating brand awareness.
Creating immersive experiences that will empower the audience is how the events industry will remain relevant and continue to grow. It is essential to create the right setting where engagement in personalised one-on-one time with attendees, and connect with them emotionally.
The third workshop will be led by BCD Meetings & Events: and theme is The Success Trifecta: an evolved collaboration model for clients, agencies and hotels.
The relationship between the customer, the agency and the hotel has long been viewed as an atypical supply chain, with the customer sitting at the top and the hotel firmly in last place.
But with a strain on hotel space, and a greater focus on working with accredited agencies to meet compliance demands, does the customer still command the number one position?
Does the industry need a more tripartite approach which recognises the role of all three parties in ensuring ultimate business success?
This workshop is designed to explore this premise and help customers, hotels and agencies work more collaboratively.
Nigel Gaunt concluded, “The program for this year’s annual conference can only be described as rich with opportunities for those agencies and delegates determined to provide great outcomes for their clients and want to build businesses of enduring value and relevance.
“The ICESAP Conference organising team and sponsors are confident the attendees will be uplifted by the experience and the fantastic showcase of ICE talent”.
