Press Release (ePRNews.com) - AUSTIN, Texas - Mar 18, 2019 - Industry leader and sustainable furnishings design and manufacturing firm Home Trends & Design has announced their plans to unveil an all-new look for their brand identity at the Spring High Point Market next month in their 16,000-square-foot showroom in Showplace. The initiative parallels sweeping changes to the company’s operations and e-Commerce capabilities, which include a new B2B website and a new manufacturing and distribution facility in their hometown of Austin, Texas.
“The new look for our brand styling is much cleaner and sophisticated than in the past, which better portrays our company’s identity, as well as our capabilities in design and manufacturing,” says co-founder and CEO Hank Cravey. “We also saw this as an opportunity to feature a new tag line – ‘furniture for good,’ which relates to our emphasis on sustainability and building furniture that is made to last,” he said. “Our goal is to give our ever-expanding client base better products as well as tools that will enable them to make more money, and to package that in a way that complements these improvements while portraying the company’s ideals of sustainability, functionality and cutting-edge design.”
Simultaneously with the new branding effort, the company has been re-vamping their ERP and B2B website capability to make it easier for customers to sell product and process orders while improving visibility of product availability, transaction information and updates on new arrivals and special offers. “The initiative to upgrade our systems and enhance the customer experience, which includes expanded e-Commerce capabilities for our website, will provide a whole new level of support for our customers,” says Cravey. “The beautiful thing about our new systems is they fully integrate with operations and offices around the globe, which will give the extended HTD family overseas, especially HTD-India, a key resource with which to take efforts such as delivery and quality to a new level. I know [co-founder and Director] Dhaval and his team are also equally excited about the possibilities.”
Along with the new technology capabilities, the company has recently moved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility in Austin, Texas. “Affording our team the opportunity to work together and develop this facility from the ground up has been a real blessing,” says Cravey. “Our operation has grown in complexity over the years and after a protracted period of extremely rapid growth, it’s taken us a bit to catch up with things from an operational standpoint.”
