As Dependency Program Director at Children’s Home Society of Florida, T. Sharis Robinson works tirelessly to improve the lives of children and families in the state of Florida. She has worked within the field of child welfare for six years and recently accepted this position.

Using her expansive experience, including her work in dependency case management, adoptions, and intake and placement supervision, as well as her management and communication skills, Ms. Robinson leads a team of dedicated professionals whose mission is to “build bridges to success for children.” She works closely with organizational partners as well as the judicial system to foster change in the child welfare system, address relevant issues and initiate creative and effective solutions.
Ms. Robinson’s motto is “positive output encourages positive feedback.” With her exemplary leadership abilities, extensive background in public relations and passion for giving all children the resources they need to succeed, Ms. Robinson is establishing herself as a leader in her field. As she continues her important work, she hopes to eventually become more involved in policy-making decisions for the protection of children in Florida and create more awareness about the issue of child welfare in communities.
