Kansas City Construction Software Company Awarded Kansas Women-Owned Business of the Year

Shelley Armato, CEO of MySmartPlans, will be honored at 33rd Annual Minority and Women Business Awards Luncheon Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Topeka, KS. The luncheon will take place during Kansas Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, the Department’s annual celebration of minority and women entrepreneurs in Kansas.

“We are quite honored to be receiving this award,” says Armato. “We are only scratching the surface of how powerful this technology and service can be for the construction world.” Shelley broke the rules when she introduced revolutionary technology into construction sites to increase accountability and reduce chaos.  Her business was started in a garage with $15,000.
