PROGLYNC Singapore (https://proglync.com/), is the only two-day series, in the region dedicated to the APAC programmatic media and marketing industry. Created in collaboration with an expert advisory board, in-line with the needs of brands, agencies, and media owners, the event will bring together the movers and shakers of the industry, enabling a unique platform for peer-to-peer learning and networking.
According to Magna Global’s Programmatic Intelligence Report, Asia’s programmatic penetration is set to hit 35 percent by 2019. The top three markets driving programmatic in the region, in terms of spend are Japan, China, and Australia. Strategy Analytics reports, spend in the east Asian region, including China, Japan, and South Korea, is expected to hit $59.7bn this year, taking it past North America, where spending will grow to $59.5bn.
There is no doubt that, programmatic adoption is rising in the APAC region. However, equally, there are key challenges in programmatic trading such education, skills gap, the complexity of technology implementation, concerns about ad-fraud, viewability and transparency to name a few, that need to be addressed in order for buyers to unlock the true benefits of programmatic and achieve a better return on their investments.
