About Knitted Knockers of Canada:
Knitted Knockers of Canada is an organization dedicated to providing special handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Traditional breast prosthetics are usually expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable. They typically require special bras or camisoles with pockets and can’t be worn for weeks after surgery. Knitted Knockers on the other hand are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. Our special volunteer knitters provide these free to those requesting them. Knitted Knockers can be adjusted to fill the gap for breasts that are uneven and easily adapted for those going through reconstruction by simply removing some of the stuffing. For more information, visit www.knittedknockers.org.

About Famous PEOPLE Players’ Dine & Dream Theatre:
A place where hospitality is at the heart of life, the Famous PEOPLE Players’ Dine & Dream Theatre was first opened by the Governor General of Canada, Ramon Hynatyshyn, in 1994, twenty years after the original founding of the theatre company in 1974 by member of the Order of Canada, Diane Dupuy. The goal of the Culinary Arts Program is to expand the players’ life skills as most of the players are people who are challenged. It was actor Paul Newman who first believed in this program by lending his support and encouragement to the Culinary Arts Dream Program. At the Dine & Dream Theatre, the Players learn to prepare a memorable meal for patrons to enjoy. In addition to their kitchen responsibilities, they also set up the dining room, learn hospitality, customer service, and also pride themselves on performing in the show. The Famous PEOPLE Players’ Newman’s Own Kitchen, under the artistic direction of great Canadian celebrity Chef, Christopher Woods, has generously given of his time and talent to help Famous PEOPLE Players develop and create a menu which will inspire your love of food. Christopher oversees and advises the team to ensure they perform to the highest standards in the world of cuisine.
