Marc Sirockman has been selected as President of MedEvoke. Formally Chief Strategic Officer, Managing Director, Marc brings 30 years of industry experience to his new role. He was named Top 100 Pharmavoice “most inspiring leader” 2013 and 2015. Following successful field, management, and sales training positions in pharma/biotech industries, he has developed strategic insights in the complex touchpoint-matrix framework required to engage healthcare providers, caregivers, payers, and patients. Marc’s mission is to creatively engage with stakeholders to drive performance within the complex health ecosystem. Goals for his new position also include an increased focus on efficiency, strategy refinement, and growth initiatives for the company. Shauna Aherne has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Formerly Vice President, Strategic Accounts, Shauna brings more than a decade of extensive experience across the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and research markets. She has a passion for innovation and driving impact, and has demonstrated that through her strong collaborations and partnerships with clinical, medical affairs through launch excellence, and beyond. Shauna is a leader in supporting her team and driving value to support the organization’s partners and clients. With her knowledge of the market, clinical development, and organizational objectives, Shauna combines creative thinking with data insights to deliver unique, strategic solutions. Shauna received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Salisbury University, in Maryland, with a focus on premed studies and genetic research. She also holds a second bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University and earned her MBA degree with a specialization in management, project management, and marketing.
Dover Bull has been promoted to Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Formerly Director, Strategic Accounts, Dover is a highly accomplished professional with 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical publishing industries. Her previous responsibilities included executive leadership, strategy development, team building, sales management, marketing, key account management, and decision-making. She has a proven record of building and leading business strategy and operations. In her career, Dover has driven value from team development, custom product development, and commercial strategy. In previous roles, Dover has engineered the promotion and development of several companies. She is passionate about medical education and empowering others. Dover has a BS in Business from Delaware Valley University and a Leadership degree from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Fred Short has been promoted to Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Formerly Director, Strategic Accounts, Fred Short brings to MedEvoke over 15 years of sales management experience in the healthcare information industry, supporting a range of initiatives in research and development, medical information, regulatory, marketing, and educational outreach. With broad knowledge of many therapeutic categories, including neurology, ophthalmology, diabetes, infectious disease, and pathology, Fred has global expertise in designing layered, effective solutions scaled to client need. He has been instrumental in developing customized education programs for the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, among others. Prior to his current role, Fred was Director of Sales – Eastern Region for Wolters Kluwer, and Director of Corporate Sales at Ovid Technologies. He has a BA in Finance from Philadelphia University.
Keli Burd is now Director, Client Services. Keli has been with MedEvoke since 2014, most recently in a Sr. Project Management role. She has over 20 years of project management and client service experience in medical communications and marketing within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Keli has been instrumental in helping build an operational foundation for the growth of MedEvoke and will oversee Account Direction, Project Management, and client satisfaction.
Barbara Zolli is now Director, Content Management. Barb most recently held the position of Sr. Medical Writer at MedEvoke, and within a year has proven leadership skills that will be key to MedEvoke’s continued growth and expansion. Barb will be leading the scientific content development team, bringing over 25 years of healthcare, medical education, communications, and marketing experience to her new role.
