TwitCasting is a live streaming communication platform which is designed for users to develop and meet a “comfortable” online community with real-time, open communication through the service. It is unique in its ability to live stream in poor network environments by dynamically adjusting to network quality and reducing its bandwidth requirements. TwitCasting streamers can broadcast and record without worrying about network quality issues and focus on building a community. Viewers can communicate and share with streamers through comments, send gifts and even join a broadcast as “Collaborative Streaming.” The apps’ performance, simplicity and ease of use have helped to drive strong mobile growth, and the registered users are now over 24 million.
This funding will support continued product improvement of TwitCasting and fuel its marketing to further expand the user base as well as development of new services and core technologies for live streaming communication.
