Kitchener #RE/MAX Realtors Spearhead Initiative to Woo Americans to Canada
Move to Canada If Trump Wins Elections

Press Release ( - KITCHENER, Ontario - Oct 27, 2016 - With the American Presidential race results narrowing, two Canadian RE/MAX realtors ( have launched an initiative for Americans to move to Canada if #Trump wins (

Encouraging Americans to “get out while the getting is good”, RE/MAX realtors Looey Tremblay and Michael Saunders from Kitchener, Ontario have spelled out how to avoid “The Trumpocalypse” by moving to #Canada.

Citing a 2016 report by U.S. News & World Report and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School that Canada is the second best country in the world in which to live, Tremblay said “Canada ranks right up there in matters relating to citizenship, entrepreneurship and being open for business.” Tremblay further stated “Now is a great time for Americans to buy real estate in Canada – the exchange rate is hugely in their favor. At today’s exchange rate, 1 USD = 1.34 CAD – that translates to huge buying power for Americans buying Canadian real estate.”

While Canada’s Cape Breton Islanders made waves earlier this year by inviting Americans to move to Cape Breton if Donald Trump Wins, Tremblay said that “Canada is chock full of vibrant and safe cities, top-notch schools and universities, world-class infrastructure, and great places to call home.”
