Press Release (ePRNews.com) - TAIPEI, Taiwan - Oct 04, 2016 - Taiwanese startup team announced the launch of a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter for innovative MUG+, the world’s first bluetooth speaker that can pair with any container as its speaker cabinet.
To differentiate itself from a market flooded with bluetooth speakers, the team thought out of the box and came up with this idea to take speaker driver out of its original cabinet, wrap up those wires and redesigned an extremely flexible and portable speaker that works with any container handy at home.
Portability versus sound quality is the common trade-off for bluetooth speakers. “We want everyone to have their own customized portable speaker without the need to sacrifice sound quality” says Sean Chen, the CEO of MUG+ team. According to the equation velocity equals frequency times wavelength, bigger cabinet performs better on lower frequency sound. Thus, matching MUG+ with an appropriate container outshines other bluetooth speakers at the same size.
Enjoy music, but most importantly, play with it. Have tons of fun exploring the slight difference when you put MUG+ in all sorts of cup diverse in size and material. Other than starting your day with a cup of coffee to go, have a mug of music on the way makes you so much cooler.
Early-bird backers can support the project with $35 to receive MUG+ (MSRP $59). The product is expected to ship by Feb 2017.
