Max A. Pooch is available for personal appearances, endorsement of products, organizations or services, and for demonstrations of his abilities. His human Keith Sanderson appears with him and shares Max’s amazing story.
Max A Pooch is the recycled dog who recycles. He is recycled because like millions of other dogs each year he was abandoned. If he had not been recycled (rescued) he would have been put down and like the estimated 4,000,000 other dogs that are destroyed each year ended up at the bottom of a sanitary landfill.
Awesome" is the word that Planet's David Mizejewski wrote in his blog about Max.
"He then went on to suggest his readers Check out the video about a "recycled" black lab that is now on a mission to recycle trash. I think this is such a clever and useful way to channel the lab's innate retrieving instinct for the greater good." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSfNNH-6cSI
He recycles by seeking out and retrieving discarded bottles and cans and bringing them back to Keith Sanderson his human.
Max A. Pooch is a powerful message to audiences everywhere that recycling is so easy even a dog can do it. Keith amplifies Max's message by discussing that those who litter and those who abandon animals have much in common. Namely, these people leave their mess, whether it is a discarded bottle or abandoned dog for others to clean up.
The cost to society is untold millions of dollars. The cost to the environment is incaculabe, and the misery caused to the countless of dogs that are put down is a tragedy.
The lesson to be learned is that each one of us can do something about this. We can stop littering and if we see a piece of litter on the ground we can do what Max does with cans and bottles, we can pick the litter up. When it comes to abandoned dogs each of us can raise the conciousness of the tragedy that occurs. Also of the cost in terms of not only the death of so many Pooch's but the high cost in terms of dollars that society must pay.
Keith and Max A. Pooch have appeared on Radio, featured as part of Lake County, Illinois's Green Initiative, and at fund raisers and personal appearances.
