Paradise Valley Hospital is the South Bay’s oldest hospital. In fact, we are the second oldest hospital in all of San Diego County, and the largest employer in National City. Today, our 291-bed, acute care hospital features the San Diego Spine & Joint Center, a highly credentialed acute rehabilitation center, our Paradise Health & Senior Center, a fully equipped and modern cardiac catheterization lab, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and 24-hour emergency services,
In addition to our healthcare services, we offer comprehensive behavioral health services on the hospital campus and Bayview campus in Chula Vista. Services include psychiatric continuum of care for adult patients, inpatient services, intensive outpatient, the Bayview Clubhouse and the ALLY School Counseling Program.
Paradise Valley Hospital’s dedication to whole person wellness through healthy living is evident in the variety of complimentary or low-cost health education classes offered through our Center for Health Promotion. Nutrition counseling, smoking cessation classes, weight and stress management classes, and health screenings are just a few of the many offerings via The Center. Even at the mature age of 111, we are progressive in our approach to healthcare.
