SugarBuzzBooks is a vibrant, colorful small Detroit-Michigan based publisher focusing on the unique voices of LGBTQ writers of Children's, YA, horror, and Dark Fantasy works of fiction and non-fiction.  There is a missing segment in the industry that SugarBuzzBooks knows how to fill, giving a platform to the great voices of the LGBTQ community.

SugarBuzzBooks is helmed by critically-acclaimed LGBTQ author Steven Lee Climer who brings decades of experience to the role of editor-in-chief, Founder, and President.  His credentials include: PhD in Education, two master's degrees in Teaching Writing and Rhetoric, and a bachelor's degree in Journalism.  Climer is also the author of more than 12 novels, 50+ short stories published in North American and the UK, and winner of numerous awards including a nomination for Best First Novel by the International Horror Guild and a win for Best Horror Novel for Dream Thieves; His novel Demonesque was optioned for the big screen by After Dark Productions, the producers of Dungeons & Dragons and American Haunting.  Climer is also a critically-acclaimed photographer.
