The Yot Spot

Opening in the summer of 2015, Scotland's first "Yot Spot" will breath life back into Ardrishaig's Pier Square. The prime function of the business is to service the canal basin with facilities for boat owners, but tourists of all types and locals alike are more than welcome to use these facilities.

The building has a chandlery stocking a range of ropes, paints, maintenance products and much more. Beta Marine engines are available to order, as are spares for all marine engine types. Connected with the chandlery is a gift shop stocking souvenirs and local arts and crafts.

There are commercial washing and drying facilities and coin operated showers available to all during opening times, and available to canal users 24/7.

The restaurant has a simple yet delicious and varied menu, complimented by a frequently updated specials board where local high quality produce can be sampled, The restaurant also has outside seating areas and even a takeaway counter.

Brokerage services and waterside property sales will be another focus of the business, with the central location and the large thoroughfare providing great exposure for homes and boats listed,
