In 1996, Randy Marks, the President and founder of TRK Engineering Ltd. recognized a need for a specialized multi-disciplined engineering for in the wireless communication field. A practicing professional engineer himself since 1994, Randy brought together the best talent available and formed a team to meet the challenges of this industry. Specializing in wireless communication infrastructure, TRK has quickly become a leader in providing state-of-the-art technical designs that are both innovative and cost-effective.

In 2003 Randy secured his Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License and in 2004 created TRK Helicopters. The TRK Helicopter fleet of light, intermediate and medium helicopters is used for diverse operations from fire fighting to mineral exploration and tourism amongst a few. The great benefit of having TRK Helicopters as a part of the TRK Group is the convenience of remote site access for the telecom carriers across Canada. This places TRK Group in the unique position of conveniently having helicopters at their disposal.

In 2014, the final piece of the puzzle was added with the creation of TRK Connect. Connect is the construction arm of the TRK Group. Engineering, Helicopters and Connect work together to provide complete Design, Build and Remote Site Access to Telecom carriers across Canada. The exceptional ability to provide this complete package is what sets the TRK Group apart from its competitors.
