Next Generation Marketing, Inc. Aids Ticket to Dream

Press Release ( - PLEASANTON, CA - Jun 30, 2017 - ​This summer, Next Generation Marketing, Inc.’s team will be collecting and donating school supplies to support the Ticket to Dream Foundation. This nonprofit provides much-needed assistance to children in the foster care system.

“We take our role as a community leader seriously, and we get excited about ways to give back to the area that has done so much for us,” shared Kevin, Next Generation Marketing, Inc.’s CEO. “When we found out how much good we could do by partnering up with the Ticket to Dream Foundation, we knew supporting this cause was the way we wanted to spend our summer.”

Ticket to Dream Foundation raises money to provide necessities to foster care children, like clothing and shoes, while also purchasing school supplies and even gifts for the holidays. What’s more, Ticket to Dream has also helped kids enjoy normal life experiences like zoo trips and music lessons – experiences most of us are lucky enough to take for granted.

“Some of these kids become foster children within days of being born, which means they have literally no material possessions except what the hospital might let them keep,” stated Kevin. “Others may be older, but lived in impoverished or abusive situations where safety and security were nonexistent. We don’t give a lot of thought to our own shoes at Next Generation Marketing, Inc., but they can make a world of difference to a foster child.”

Next Generation Marketing, Inc.’s School Supply Drive for Ticket to Dream

There are around 400,000 children in the foster care system at any time, and unfortunately there is a lack of government funding and qualified foster parents to meet this need. To help Ticket to Dream address this issue, Next Generation Marketing, Inc. will be conducting a drive for school supplies during the months of June, July, and August. 

“These children have already suffered through so much. There are some heartbreaking statistics associated with foster children that make our efforts so worthwhile. One of the worst is that 50 percent of kids in foster care drop out of school before earning high school diplomas. I feel that this is an issue that we can help address in a small way with our school supply drive, by at least making sure that the kids have the supplies they need. I’m really proud that my Next Generation Marketing, Inc. colleagues are on board with this cause.”
