Phaze Concrete Started Off as a Small Company in Utah and Nevada.

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - HILDALE, Utah - Sep 28, 2017 - Phaze Concrete started off as a small company that took on a number of projects in Utah and Nevada. Today, however, you can see the company’s work everywhere you go, from big warehouses to hotels and airports across the country.

The climb of Phaze Concrete is not a miracle but rather the result of a highly skilled team that gained a positive reputation among construction companies.

One successful project after another helped the company make a name for itself and land bigger projects. Nowadays, Phase Concrete wants to invest more in the well-being and the education of the people who helped the company rise to the top.

We don’t want our employees simply to come to work and earn a paycheck and go home; we want them to come and have a valuable experience, learning transferable skills that can improve every aspect of their life. Registered apprentices, regardless of their age, will have the opportunity to complete their GED, if they have not received a high school diploma or equivalent.

The highly skilled team of workers was the company’s secret weapon. No compromises were made when they hired the best teams to work on their projects.

Technological advancements happen at a faster rate than ever, and the company recognizes how hard it is for their workers to keep up with all of the changes. This is why Phase Concrete wants to invest more in educational programs.

The company wants to help its workers stay up-to-date with the latest changes in their industry and be happier with their jobs.

The efforts of the company are reflected in the Experience Modification (EMOD) ratings that are now at 0.72%.

Through apprenticeship programs, the company wants to invest in the underprivileged workers who don’t have a high school diploma.

The programs are meant to teach the workers transferable skills that can be used in a number of industries. On top of this, the families of the members can also benefit from educational programs.

The construction industry is booming, and Phaze Concrete is investing in their workers because new jobs are available to them if they have the right qualifications.

The educational programs offered by the construction company didn’t go unnoticed. In 2017, the U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta recognized the importance of apprenticeship programs in economic sectors with growth potential.

Phase Concrete is now collaborating with the Department of Labor’s Department of Apprenticeships to ensure the quality of the educational programs that are provided to their employees.

The company is now part of the 37,000 programs all over the country that provide free training to their workers and their families.

But perhaps the biggest step forward is the fact that workers and companies are working together to create a brighter future. None of the training programs inside the company is unionized anymore.

On top of it, many companies made a huge progress when it comes to incorporating workers from underprivileged groups. The training is available with no discrimination of race nor gender.

One of the company’s representative explains why education programs are important for workers and their families :

“We don’t want our employees simply to come to work and earn a paycheck and go home; we want them to come and have a valuable experience, learning transferable skills that can improve every aspect of their life. Registered apprentices, regardless of their age, will have the opportunity to complete their GED, if they have not received a high school diploma or equivalent.

Phaze provides the GED readiness course that is available to all employees and family members of our employees. When employees make the commitment to the apprenticeship program, Phaze Concrete makes a commitment to them to give them the most well-rounded industry training available. Doing the right thing has been an important value for the Phaze team, often going the extra mile to make sure customers get what they expected and have an active involvement with solutions to the daily challenges and hurdles of today’s construction industry. Our crews work hard as a team to keep commitments and schedules while traveling across the nation to deliver the quality the industry has come to expect from us.”

The company’s ultimate goal is to keep their workers and their families happy with their jobs and help them stay updated with the latest changes in the industry to ensure they move forward in their careers.
