Photography Legend: Jonathan Mannion Set To Take Nigeria This Week

Press Release ( - LAGOS CITY, Nigeria - Oct 24, 2016 - The legendary Hip hop photographer; Jonathan Mannion is set to arrive Nigeria for his photography tour.

The renowned  photographer who is well known as the man behind the album cover of Jay Z’s debut album ; Reasonable Doubt has over 2 decades shot about 300  album covers for the biggest names in the hip hop industry.

Jonathan is also the photographer behind the iconic #straightoutta campaign directed by Dr. Dre.

He will be in Nigeria for the very first time from Tuesday, 25th  to Sunday, 30th October 2016 to showcase some of his most celebrated works.

This tour is one of the the amazing initiative of Hennessy Artistry to express its love for hip hop.

Day 1

– Jonathan Mannion’s opening exhibition;

Venue: Red Door Arts Gallery, 51, Bishop Oluwole, VI, Lagos.

Date: Thursday, 27th October 2016

Time: 6pm

– Public gallery opening : 27th October – 5th November daily.

Time: 8pm-10pm daily

Day 2

1. Lunch with veteran photographers –

Date: Friday, 28th October 2016

Time: 3pm

2. Album cover shoot for 2 undisclosed Nigerian Artistes

Day 3

1.Jonathan Mannion Talk Presentation with Hip Hop representatives and Photography representatives.

Date: Saturday, 29th October 2016

Time: 3pm
