POS specialist helps retailers 'get back to Black Friday.'

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - WEST BROMWICH, England - Nov 10, 2016 - West Bromwich-based Wrights Plastics GPX works with a range of retailers – from Marks & Spencer to C-stores & independents – and believes all retailers can increase sales on November 25th.

The company, who manufacture around 2000 POS, POP and retail display products at their two Midlands manufacturing units, are offering discounts of up to £75 for customers in the run up to the event, which last year generated sales of over £3 billion. Online support aims to help independent retailers use POS as part of an overall marketing campaign to maximise sales and profits on the day.

The term originates in USA where it referred to absenteeism after Thanksgiving Holiday, but was adopted in the 1980s by retailers eager to cash-in on the increased shoppers on the day. The term has since spread worldwide and, for UK retailers at least, marks the start of the Christmas sales season.

Wrights Plastics GPX believes smaller retailers can benefit from the event. MD Mike Wright adds “Customers will be looking out for great offers on Black Friday from all retailers and there is no reason why independent retailers cannot benefit – but they’ll need to effectively plan and promote their event to get noticed on the day & achieve an uplift in sales and attract new customers at the start of the Christmas season. We’ve got lots of ideas online to help and we’ve introduced a tiered discount offer that means retailers save more when they buy more.”

The company are offering a £10 discount when the customer spends £100, £25 off on a £200 spend, £40 for £300 and £75 off when the customer spends £500.

The offer runs until 25th November and full details can be found at www.gpxgroup.com
