Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Austin, Texas - Aug 15, 2016 - Pratham USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational reform in India, is proud to announce the annual gala sponsored by its Austin chapter. Austin Gala 2016 is scheduled to take place at the Hyatt Regency on Barton Springs Road in Austin, beginning at 6:00 PM on September 17. Tickets are available only through the end of August.
The theme of this year’s gala is ‘Pratham Voice: Giving Voice to Children in India’. The event’s keynote speaker is Harvard Business School and Arthur Lowes Dickinson professor of business administration Srikant Datar. He will be joined by Honoree and Journeyman Group president Sam Kumar for an evening of good food, entertainment, and education.
Guests will be treated to a cocktail and networking hour to start the event. Throughout the evening they will also enjoy a live auction featuring an exotic travel package and artwork produced by local and Indian artists, as well as a live singing competition presented by the Pratham Voice singers. DJ Nish will provide music throughout the evening.
Pratham USA and its Austin chapter want to thank event chair Minu Mohan, all of the organization’s board members, and a plethora of sponsors who are all working together to make Austin Gala 2016 a huge success. If the gala proves to be as successful as it has in years past, hundreds of guests will attend to help the organization raise the funds necessary to continue their educational programs for children in India.
