Recently joining the programme is Brigadier General Carlos de Salas, Head of C4ISR and Space Programmes, Spanish Ministry of Defence who will be presenting on ‘Critical Developments in C4ISR within the Maritime Domain’. His session will assess the current C4ISR focuses and developments as well as the challenges associated with C4ISR system integration and interoperability within the Spanish Navy. Furthermore he will also talk about the importance of the F-110 frigate to developing more accurate situational awareness.
Also joining the line-up is Captain Manuel Martinez-Ruiz, F110 Frigate Programme Manager, Spanish Ministry of Defence who will be exploring ‘Technological Research and Development Projects Supporting F-110 Programme’. His presentation will provide delegates with an overview of the supporting F-110 technological programmes and the benefits of an integrated mast to the interoperability of the F-110 Frigate.
Captain Manuel Martinez-Ruiz will also be taking part in the Panel Discussion on day one of the event with representatives from Italian Navy, German Navy and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). They will be discussing ‘Effectively Integrating Key Naval Assets in Order to Deliver Future Maritime Operational Superiority’.
This conference will not only be insightful, it will present attendees with an opportunity to meet and network with military and industry decision makers as well as technological experts in Naval Mission Systems Technology.
Running alongside the two day event is a post-conference workshop entitled ‘Enhancing Systems and Technology for Maritime Situational Awareness.’
This will be led by Dr Clayton Stewart, former Technical Director of the Office of Naval Research Global and current Professor at the University College London.
