Press Release (ePRNews.com) - AUSTIN, Texas - Apr 05, 2018 - The Amazi Project will be partnering with tckt.it to organize a “Well-Off” BBQ to raise money for sustainable water wells construction across Rwanda. The event will be held Sunday, April 8th at 4 p.m. in Brushy Creek Lake Park, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
This will be a great opportunity for families and friends to enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, a bouncy house for the kids, and most importantly, it’s an opportunity to get involved with the Amazi Project by raising the awareness on water problems in Rwanda and helping find people who want to be part of the solution.
Last year, through the local support we helped build individual gardens for over 400 families in Kageyo, Rwanda. This year’s goal is to create a sustainable business model for micro-well building in the poorest rural areas of Rwanda. We believe that thousands of wells will be created and 20,000 families can have fresh and clean water near their homes. For more information please click here: https://www.theamaziproject.com/
About The Amazi Project
The Amazi Project is a team of volunteers working under the umbrella of Africa New Life whose goal is to provide clean water to families across Kageyo, Rwanda and its surrounding regions.
Their plan: Create water wells that are easy to maintain, then train families in the surrounding communities to use them, build them, maintain them, and create a locally sustainable business model to spread water wells across Rwanda
