Press Release (ePRNews.com) - ASHBURN, Va. - Feb 23, 2018 - The Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene wants to help you ‘win parenting’ with a new workshops series beginning on Thursday, March 8th at 4pm, at their campus in Ashburn located at 20300 Bowfonds, St, Ashburn, VA 20147. The Montessori Academy of Belmont Greene’s experienced faculty will share proven parenting techniques that can be done at home.
The “Parenting Life Hacks” workshops will include an open discussion by the school’s director, Bart Theriot along with a panel of some of the school’s head teachers. This event is open to all parents who want to come and learn some quick and useful parenting tips. As Bart states, “Every family is different, but we still share many of the same goals for our children and the struggles that go along with them. In 17 years as the Director of the Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene and the father of 4 boys, I have had the privilege of working with an incredible group of teachers (one of which is my wife) who have shown me that when it comes to parenting, Montessori is basically one brilliant life hack. We want to share these with other parents.”
Starting in March, the Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene faculty will present three workshops discussing techniques and concepts that will strengthen any parent/child partnership and help moms and dads find more success (and joy) during the times you need it most. In March, the topic will focus on “balancing responsibility and control.” In April, the topic will focus on “speaking to your child.” And finally, in May, we will focus on “media and the young child.” Pick the one that interests you or attend all three! These events are for parents only. Can’t make it to one of them? Individual parent consultations are also available free of charge, which you can schedule by visiting our website. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP via this Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/events/172458356817212/.

The Montessori Academy at Belmont Greene was founded in 2001 by Beth and Bart Theriot. They strive to maintain an authentic Montessori environment for all the students in their school.
