The Prime Watches Stopped Accepting 500 and 1000 Rupees Old Currency on Purchase

Press Release ( - KOLKATA, India - Nov 17, 2016 - The Prime Watches has made an important announcement of not accepting 500 and 1000 rupees old currency on the purchase. The Government has broken out the news that the old currency holding the same values were not considered legal after the midnight of 8th November 2016. After getting the news, the authorised watch boutique soon informed its patrons that they stopped accepting the currency as per the RBI rules.

Amid this economic chaos, The Prime Watches asked the buyers to cooperate with them. The Government has taken this decision for combating with the issue of black money. The citizen of India has been given 50 days, from 8th November to 30th December, to deposit the old currencies in the respective banks. In the meantime, they can exchange the rupees with the new currencies up to 4000 rupees at any banks and post offices.
