About The Ravensbourne School
The Ravensbourne School is a mixed comprehensive school with a thriving school population of over 1450. It is proud of its students and invests in making students and staff the best that they can be.
Achievement is believed throughout the school: educating the whole person, developing all the talents that any individual may have.
The aim is to provide a seven-year journey to adulthood and equip young adults to be confident, full of self-esteem and ready to take a lead part in the 21st Century.
The Ravensbourne School is forward looking, centralising creativity and innovation in all that it does. With a superb learning environment, excellent staff and a real sense of community in which all thrive.
Education for the 21st Century was established in 2011 as a multi-Academy Trust. All the Directors have clear and long lasting commitment to the education of young people and they are prepared to operate effectively to the benefit of the Trust’s school, their students, their staff, their parents and the wider local education community within South East London.
At the heart of the Trust’s philosophy is the importance of the ‘whole child’ rather than just their academic achievement: results are important but the Trust also focuses on the soft skills which will help each student set up for their life beyond school.
We also believe that collaboration, partnership, professional growth though professional debates are best served when the participants are geographically close and taken from a wide variety of situations. For this reason, our aim is to work within the Borough of Bromley at both Primary and Secondary level not only to maintain Bromley’s reputation but also to enhance the area even further.
