Press Release (ePRNews.com) - PASADENA, Calif. - Nov 12, 2018 - Los Angeles-based Thirsty Agency has been selected by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) to create and execute their 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Creative Campaign.
Taking place every two years, the Concacaf Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region, which includes North and Central America and the Caribbean. Drawing large crowds and millions of television viewers across the region, the Gold Cup is a celebration of soccer, sportsmanship and culture.
Thirsty’s 2019 Gold Cup campaign message “This is Ours” will serve as the focal point for all strategy, design, branding, marketing and content channels. The theme highlights the 15th edition of the confederation’s official national championship, which will celebrate the region’s culture and crown the best of North, Central America and the Caribbean.
Thirsty recently took charge of strategy, video, production, design and development of the Mexican national team’s “Road to Russia” campaign prior to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Titled “2 Languages, One Voice,” Thirsty provided key creative services to generate buzz among the Mexican American Community for their U.S. tour, culminating with an exhibition match against Wales at the Rose Bowl.
Catch all the excitement of the Gold Cup during the summer of 2019. Played in more cities, more venues and more countries than ever before, 16 national teams will compete with one common goal: to remind the world “This is Ours.” The tournament will conclude on Sunday, July 7, at the iconic Soldier Field in Chicago, where a new champion will be crowned.
