Top Indian Companies win the MetrixLab Website of the Year India awards 2016

Press Release ( - HYDERABAD, India - Nov 14, 2016 - Top Indian Companies win the MetrixLab Website of the Year India awards 2016

Hyderabad, 14 November 2016– Car Dekho, India Infoline, Patanjali, The Hindu, Amazon India, IRCTC Tourism, Unicef and Facebook have been chosen by the India public as category winners of the Website of the Year 2016. Food & Beverages website Sanjeev Kapoor has been chosen by the Indian public as the overall winner of the Website of the Year India 2016.

The Website of the Year election is the biggest annual online public prize in India and was organized for the eleventh consecutive year. This year more than 68,000 people voted more than 95,000 times on their favourite websites in 21 different categories, like Media, Sports and Shopping.

Nominated websites were judged on content, navigation, design and recommendation intention. There are 2 winners in each category: the Best Website, the site with the highest average score on the four elements, and the Most Popular Website, the site with the highest number of votes. The overall winner of the Website of the Year is the website with the best relative review within its category.
