UF/Sid Martin Biotechnology Institute Brings in 10 New Resident Companies in Six Months

Press Release (ePRNews.com) - Alachua, FL - Nov 16, 2016 - Sid Martin Biotechnology Institute, the leading biotechnology incubator at the University of Florida, is having a great year. The institute has welcomed 10 innovative companies into the incubator program in a six-month period. It is at 95 percent capacity level and has accumulated an additional $37,000 in sponsorship funding to date in 2016.

The institute is an innovation engine able to offer entrepreneurs and inventors the tremendous resources of the University of Florida, including our experience in developing technology partnerships.”

Institute companies have attracted more than $1.6 billion in M&A activity, including $1.2 billion in the last seven years.
